Hakuna Matata | African Fashions and More

I met Bro. Curtis Onyango about 2 years ago at Solomon’s Temple on Two Notch Rd in Columbia, SC. There, he was showing some of his unique, high quality pieces to the proprietor. Curtis explained that his designs were handcrafted in Kenya where he studied abroad before returning home where he’d become an instructor at Benedict College. Apparently, he made some auspicious connections during his studies as his wares were unique and well made African couture. He had pieces fit for a night on the town, the board room, or partaking in a traditional African inspired ceremony. Fast forward 2 years and the website Hakuna Matata Unlimited features not just clothing but shoes, jewelry, natural remedies, and courses for well living. The site is certainly worth a visit for anyone interested in African fashions and healthy medicine alternatives.
